Strawberry Festival Parade |

BAARC members and their dogs walked in the Strawberry Festival Parade on June 17th. The Belleville and Van Buren Township communities got to see that we are an enthusiastic group who want to make a difference for animals in this area.
The BAARC booth on Main Street did good business with handmade products such as dog bandanas, cookie bones, and quilted photos. The ice cold water was a good seller. Lots of people stopped by to meet us and give us encouragement in our efforts.

Sumpter CountryFest Parade |
|
BAARC was represented in the Sumpter CountryFest parade on May 28, 2011 by banner carriers Pam Ruff and Carl Johnson. Walking with dogs sporting red bandanas were Diane Madigan with her German shepherd Iko, Kathy Ward with her border collie mix Sally, a rescue dog, and John Delaney walking another of Kathy's rescue dogs, Mike, a Lab/pit bull mix.
